Meet Tara

 

Hi, I’m Tara — a 500-hour qualified Yoga Teacher specialising in traditional Hatha Yoga. My own practice started as relief from chronic pain but quickly blossomed into a path of reconnecting with body, breath, and inner stillness. I’m passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone — beginners, those coping with pain, or anyone seeking calm — can find support and growth.

Since qualifying in 2024, I’ve taught online and in person, including private sessions, group classes, and assisting teacher training courses. I’m currently deepening my skills through Yoga Therapy training to further expand accessibility.

My Approach to Yoga

🌿Yoga changed my life — and it can change yours too.

I came to yoga seeking relief from chronic pain, and what I found was something much deeper: a path to peace, strength, and self-connection. Over time, I’ve learned that yoga isn’t about flexibility or performing perfect poses — it’s about learning to listen inward, breathe with awareness, and move in a way that feels kind and nourishing to your body.

  

✨ Why Practice Hatha Yoga?

Hatha Yoga is a traditional, grounded form of yoga that helps you connect deeply with yourself through breath, movement, and stillness. Whether you're brand new to yoga or returning after a break, Hatha offers a steady foundation. My classes focus on:

  • Safe, mindful movement
  • Simple but powerful breathwork
  • Meditation and nervous system regulation
  • Creating space for all abilities and backgrounds

  

🧘‍♀️ My Teaching Style

As a RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, I’ve trained in yoga philosophy, anatomy, pain resilience, and trauma-informed approaches. I offer a gentle and inclusive teaching style, where every student is encouraged to move at their own pace.

You're welcome exactly as you are. My classes are a space to explore, release, and restore — whether you're managing stress, healing from injury, or simply seeking more balance in your life.

Yoga doesn’t need to be exclusive or intimidating. My goal is to make yoga accessible, welcoming, and supportive, especially for those who feel like yoga isn’t “for them.” Whether you're dealing with pain, fatigue, anxiety, or just modern life — there’s space for you here.
